After our short trip to Indonesia, we took a flight to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Why Kuala Lumpur? That’s pretty easy to explain; it was, by far, the cheapest flight back home.
As we conclude the Asia part of our extensive travels, we take a brief break at home before heading off to France for the next stage of the journey.

Batu Caves
Additionally, we took the time to visit the famous Batu Caves.
I can’t say I was impressed if I’m being honest – it was pretty dirty, crowded, and there wasn’t a ton to explore here.
I would probably go check out the entrance with the big statue, but the inner area of the cave is not all that impressive.

That was pretty much it. The rest of the days were filled with food, work, and prepping for our extensive flight back home.
The next article will be from France – we have planned a two-month road trip across the entire country.
It will be weird, switching from months in Asia to the familiarity of Europe, but fingers crossed that we have a good time!
Have a great summer,
Patrick
