Friends, Nerds and fun – Belgium!

Friends, Nerds and fun - Belgium! 1

After two months in France, we made a quick stop in Belgium, more precisely in Ghent.

This trip was definitely different from all the ones we had in the past couple of months.

It was way less about photography and more about catching up with friends, chatting, eating some incredible food and getting to learn a bit about Belgium.

Oh, and right at that time, the Gent Festival was happening – a 10-day, free, open-air festival held in the historic city center of Ghent!

I know you’ve all expected some nerds sitting around a big table with the Macbook’s doing some coding sessions, but instead we acted like real humans (probably because we got our girlfriends with us, ha!)

It was great catching up with Maarten and Ross from my mastermind – especially as I skipped WordCamp Europe this year, so we hadn’t had our annual get together and it was amazing!

It’s challenging to find friends beyond your 30’s and if you find some where you match on so many levels, it’s destined to be a good time – zhis is definitely something I can see becoming a yearly tradition!

We are on our way back to Germany now, before hopping on our flight to Argentina!
